Artec Aqua's commitments to respect people, society and the environment are stated in the company's policy for sustainable business practices.We expect our suppliers to respect people, society and the environment in the same way as Artec Aqua throughout their value chain when they carry out work for us. This is therefore stipulated in our supplier code of conduct.
The Transparency Act shall promote companies' respect for human rights and decent working conditions, as well as ensure the public's access to information. The law imposes a duty of information on businesses such as Artec Aqua and a duty to, among other things, carry out due diligence assessments in line with the OECD's guidelines.
Artec Aqua is currently mapping out our supply chain and other business partners and performing assessments of human rights and decent working conditions in accordance with OECD principles.
The company's supply chains are complicated and sometimes long with several links and sub-suppliers who in turn have their own supply chains.
In accordance with the purpose of the Transparency Act, the business has chosen a risk-based approach to due diligence assessments, where probability combined with scale, scope and possibility of recovery of potential or actual effects on human rights and decent working conditions form the basis for prioritizing the business's further work. Through the process, we aim to identify, avoid/prevent, reduce and account for any potential or actual effects on human rights and decent working conditions that occur in our supply chain or with our business partners.
